We live in a high tech world and most of us have some of the tools we need to interact visually with our clients. A few of these items are listed below:
Digital Camera that takes really nice high resolution images
Computer capable of handling the latest software and images
Graphics software to edit images and do designs
Color printer that produces unbelievable color prints of your pictures and images
The problem is that there’s one thing missing from that list that every Interior Landscape Design professional needs…
Not only do you need images, you need images that are suitable for design work. In short, you need images on transparent backgrounds that fit seamlessly into pictures of your clients’ venue. These images need to be both high quality and accurately cut out so they don’t have halos around them. We pride ourselves in supplying only the highest quality images.
The Digital Images Toolbox comes with over 850 plant images. In addition we have over 3000 containers that are sourced from the major container suppliers. The container collection is updated annually to reflect the changing styles and innovations that occur over time.
The sequence of computer design is to import the image of the place you want to landscape into the appropriate software. The second step is to properly size the image and clone over any unwanted objects in the image (for example-existing plant). Finally plants and containers or any other design elements are now imported into your design. Save the design and then present it to your client via email or in printed form.
The rendering you have then created accompanies your sales proposal and makes it much easier for the decision maker to understand what you intend to do for them.
It has been shown over and over that when images accompany sales proposals there is less resistance to price and the percentage of closing increases dramatically. This valuable tool pays for itself very quickly.
